Grapevine is a city located predominately in Tarrant County and has areas that extend into Dallas and Denton counties. The city is part of the Dallas Fort Worth Statistical Area and its city limits are mostly within the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, neighboring cities such as Irving and Coppell.
In recent years several wineries have opened in Grapevine, and the city has been very active in maintaining its historic downtown corridor. The city is adjacent to Grapevine Lake, a large reservoir impounded by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1952 and serves as both a source of water and recreational area. Part of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is located within the city limits, the largest portion of any municipality bordering the facility.

While Grapevine is centrally located between the major cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, it has all of the shopping and dining outlets you need within the city limits. Shopping options include the 1,600,000 sq. ft. Grapevine Mills Mall, whose diverse range of stores includes everything from Banana Republic and Bath and Body Works, to outlet stores for Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th Ave. For boutique shops with some character, check out Historic Main St. For that perfect dinner party, you can find the freshest ingredients at staples like Kroger, Tom Thumb, and Sam’s Club, or specialty stores like the British Emporium and Eatzi’s. Eating out? There are a variety of options for any occasion from casual restaurants and coffee shops to fine dining at Bob’s Steak and Chop House.
